I am looking for a good way to get twitter followers. Not just a shady pyramid scheme or phishing site. But one that works. Please have at least tried it and have a twitter account you can link as proof. Tired of all the BSers out there.

You can try sites like twibe.com in order to list your twitter name within various interest groups so people can find you.

Also, since people who follow you want to get something for their trouble, make sure your tweets are useful rather than narcissistic. Interact with your followers so you don’t come across as a twitterer-collector. Do something to help your followers- promote them on Follow Friday, for example, or even retweet useful things they post.

Question by marry me!: How to recieve twitter updates on my phone?
I want to recieve twitter updates from the people I follow. I went to account settings and I set up my phone to recieve messages from people I follow but it din’t work so I cleared everything and did it again and I still haven’t reacieved any messages on my phone. How can I fix this?

For each person whose tweets you want sent to your phone, you’ve got to go to their profile and click the little phone icon to the right of the word “following”.

Then all of those people’s tweets will be sent to your phone.

I’d like to be able to have my Twitter tweets automatically posted to my new Facebook business page. I don’t want them posted to my personal Facebook page. Any suggestions on apps that will allow me to do this? Thanks!

Someone said that you should advertise their things on twitter (movies,cds).
But if you do that will you have to reply to one of their tweets and advertise or would you just make your own tweet?

To put it simply I want the celebrity to see that I am advertising their things on twitter. How could I do that?

Question by psychologist: What are the advantages and the disadvantages of starting a Twitter account?
What is the benefits-costs balance of creating and keeping a Twitter profile? I already have a Facebook profile and feel it is taking up a huge part of my time and more commitment and investment than I would have liked to give it. But at the same time I am curiousr about all the interest in Twitter and tweets and wonder whether I am missing something good!

Well, Twitter is a WHOLE lot more “demanding” than facebook. It’s best, if youhave a twitter, to have it texted to your phone, which only costs like you are texting. Because with twitter, it’s all realtime. If you aren’t on the computer 24/7, or don’t have it on your phone, it’s pointless. Why would you want to know what someone was doing on Dec 23 at 12:01pm? you’d want to know it in realtime, which you can do with the texting thing.

They are all scams. You pay and you get 1,000 “bots” who sign up to follow you. They are not real people. You wasted your money. Get followers by posting interesting tweets.
