Question by jeremy: How can i update twitter from a sprint phone?
My current sprint phone doesn’t support web surfing so I want to upgrade to one that does. I like to update on my twitter account but the site has been blocked at my work.
Does anybody use sprint that has a phone that does this?
Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated in my search.

When you are on your twitter page, there will be a selection called ‘update device’ or something similar. You will then have to enter your cell number and follow the prompts from there.
After that, you will send a text to twitter and it will automatically update.
Just realized you were specifically asking for Sprint. I think it will work the same.

I hav opened up a twitter account to send sms to my clients. But, someone told me, if anybody subscribes from my account via cell phone that particular person’s phone number will be appear on my page. I checked in twitter, but there is no option to hide it. Can you pls giv a suggestion on how to hide the phone numbers?

your Number is 100% Private it will not show up in a text message and it will not show on the profile it self unless you typed it on your profile

It is so mind boggling ridiculous, who the hell cares if I’m picking my nose this very minute or sitting on a coach reading. Just like the Atkins diet and any other thing that gets people rushing out to be a part of , twitter too will fade away to nothingness. I am so glad I’m not like the rest of society idiotic sense of nothingness.

It already is meaningless nothingness, it’ll be about three months until people get bored and move on to the next thing.

Also, it will take a lot longer to find them and add them, so I was wondering if I could add contacts to my twitter account that I have on facebook. I dont know but two folks were using twitter quite clearly on youtube on this TV advert there search the comments their innane comments were picked up on bye the contestant on Australia’s got Talent and satired, enjoy!!!
Just use there twitter ID to find out how they left their twitter comments there?

I want to recieve twitter updates from the people I follow. I went to account settings and I set up my phone to recieve messages from people I follow but it din’t work so I cleared everything and did it again and I still haven’t reacieved any messages on my phone. How can I fix this?

For each person whose tweets you want sent to your phone, you’ve got to go to their profile and click the little phone icon to the right of the word “following”.
Then all of those people’s tweets will be sent to your phone.

Since I don’t text often, I have the 250 txt per month plan with att. If I submit my cell # to Twitter, will I be able to txt a tweet to Twitter without getting any updates from other people. Can I just tweet but not have twitter txt me with updates the people I follow post? Will the txt still count as part of my plan or will it be a different charge? Hope my questions are clear.

Yes, you can text a tweet to Twitter without getting updates from those you are following. When you select to follow someone, make sure you select “Device Updates: Off”.
This should prevent you from receiving updates via text, but should allow you to send in your personal update via text.
And the text should be apart of your plan.
