Kristen Jacoway included information that I haven’t found in any other job search books. Includes helpful checklist, web-sites and other books to read. Good book for students just graduating or someone that hasn’t had to do a job search in a while.

Our Church, the First United Methodist in Huntsville, AL, has a support group for the unemployed and they are using this book! Their use of this book resulted in the following email message to me: “What a great Book! Thanks to Kristen so much for writing it. It gets right to the point and that’s what people in a job search need. I was unemployed for the first time in 24 years and I was overwhelmed by how things have changed in the Job Search Arena.”

Our Church Library has added this Book to their inventory and are very pleased with it.

Very nice job of defining an alternate angle to the standard job search. Easy to read and easy to understand. All the info is provided, but not overwhelming. Thanks!

The title of this book is “I’m in a Job Search – Now What???” According to the Amazon listing, the title is “I’m in a job search – Now What???: Using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter as Part of Your Job Search Strategy”.

This book has 110 pages, 7 chapters and a conclusion. Chapter 6, consisting of 34 pages, addresses LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. The rest of the book does not.

This book may or may not be very good. However, I ordered it believing that it was a full book devoted to using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter as part of my job search strategy. I wasn’t expecting to receive only 34 pages on this subject. Accordingly, I am returning the book. I only gave it a single star because the title on Amazon is misleading and only reflects 34 pages of this book.
